I’m beginning to think I would greatly benefit from a monthly TBR of sorts.  This way I have a stack of books pre-picked for myself (by myself) and I won’t go through what I am now which is another crisis of WHAT DO I READ NEXT!?

My idea would be to plan just above my average per month (so.. six books maybe) to choose from.  I can deviate from that list if something I really want to read becomes available (library hold comes in, a gift of a book I really want, etc).  My thought is that by sticking to a group each month I won’t spend as many hours staring at my bookshelf waiting for the perfect book to just fall off into my lap.

Dear and most respected bookcase! I welcome your existence.
